Dr. Tim’s Neurotic Rules of Ficly Life
[Disclaimer: This is not intended to be binding nor in any way an expectation of general members of Ficly, league members, family members or wearers of Member’s Only jackets]
1. Comment to Story posting ratio must exceed 5:1. Goal is 10:1. In other words, I write a story then find five others (at least) upon which to comment before writing another.
2. For every solo shot or sequel of my own material, I must write a sequel or prequel to the work of another author. If I’m going easy on myself, participating in a challenge also fulfills this requirement.
3. If someone comments on one of my stories, I go find one of theirs upon which to comment. It only seems fair, and I like to think it encourages commenting.
4. Awesomeness is the goal, always. Call me on it when I fail, please.
5. Clearly mark mature content and err on the side of caution.
6. Golden Rule remains in effect for all sequels, prequels, and comments.

Not much to say about me really. I write. I play music. I write music. And I enjoy reading Ficly-Stories.I’ve been writing since high-school – which was so long ago, we walked to school in 4ft of snow with no shoes on and bread at the store cost a penny… ok.. .25 cents.. but i was able to get 10 candies for 5 cents.
SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AND WON NANOWRIMO 2008, by writing a novel over 60,000 words long called: Amethyst: Outer-Rim based on a ficlets series written here!

This time, it’s mostly Jason’s fault. He’s the one who convinced me that we couldn’t just leave well enough alone. He got the designers to donate their time, and wrote all the HTML, CSS and 95% of the javascript. I did the models and controllers. Nope, we couldn’t just let it go. We had to try it again.

I’ve been unfortunately dormant for the last few weeks (or months), so it’s your responsibility to yell at me and make me write. Yours, not mine. I’ll do the best I can, but really, it’s up to you.

I usually post any current series that I’m in, but seeing as I’m just getting started again, I don’t have much!

I am The Blue Sparrow (haha remember that ::takes out sword:: hehe) I am a ficlets survivor and I am very glad to be back.
I am a helpless romantic that stumbled into Ficlets and fell in love with writing. I also fell in love with the family that I came to know on that site. I seemed to grow as a writer more and more and my grades in my english class shot up.
Now in college I try to find time to write even though now it seems like my writing time is consumed by technical research papers. I have changed a lot since I stumbled into Ficlets, but cute sweet poetry is a still a part of my life.

So I figure I should fill this box in, because otherwise my profile page promised to cry in despair.
The name’s Orange, OrangeOreos. I’m from a now-extinct organization known as Ficlets. I haven’t written much since the good ship Ficlets was sunk by AOL, but I’ll try to get back into the habit!
I guess I should also say that I’m a junior in the fun-house named high school. The school theater is my second home, and all my non-cyber home-skillets live in it, too.

I am a very unique and creative human being. I value the essence of who I am. In other words, I am me; what can I say? I may seem weird and outrageous at times, but I am also loyal and trustworthy, and I will never let you down. I am a member to many online communities, and I love to go on the computer.
I’m a fairly shy individual. Sometimes I’m just in my own little world. But, for the record, I am not an outcast or a total loner. I’m just a deep thinker who ponders the essence of life. I have yet to find out what that is. However, most people have come to accept me for my uniqueness, for which I am eternally grateful.
Everyone deserves to be loved. People have accepted me for being different, and that has taught me to accept others who are different than myself. Wonderful lessons.
I also love unique clothing and jewelry! Cows are awesome too! MOOOOO!!!!! Even though I am very strange sometimes, I am still a worthwhile, intelligent, talented person.
I know not to let some people push my buttons and make me mad, even if they try to. I am a strong person, just with different strengths than others.
Since I am a hormonal teenage girl, I am occasionally prone to emotional breakdowns. But hey, it’s all good! Writing is a great outlet for me, as it helps me express my emotions. Yarn is also very nice, especially rainbow yarn.
By the way, did I mention that I totally love rainbows? Yep, that’s me, the Unique Rainbow Child. If you can’t accept and cherish me, then it’s your loss! I am proud to be me and I would never let anyone rob me of that freedom.
We must all continue in our efforts to save the unicorns! For they are God’s creatures too!

I am a Manga artist, although i do not have things up on deviant art cause i dont have a scanner…. wife of a cowboy who is currently living a dream. My hopes are that i will hone my drawing skills enough to finally draw my Husbands stories (Mighty Joe Young) i ficly to spend time with him. He is sooooo awesome.

I write poetry. Just poetry. One thing I’m trying to do is write about acts, things, people. Instead of emotion, mostly because I’m just tired of it.
I never quite know how to comment on stories , seeing as I don’t have a firm grasp of what’s involved. If I try and look silly, well, sorry.
But anyway. I write because I love it. Not because I’m good at it, or looking for praise, just because I love it.
