This time, it’s mostly Jason’s fault. He’s the one who convinced me that we couldn’t just leave well enough alone. He got the designers to donate their time, and wrote all the HTML, CSS and 95% of the javascript. I did the models and controllers. Nope, we couldn’t just let it go. We had to try it again.

I’m just this guy, you know?

Dr. Tim’s Neurotic Rules of Ficly Life
[Disclaimer: This is not intended to be binding nor in any way an expectation of general members of Ficly, league members, family members or wearers of Member’s Only jackets]
1. Comment to Story posting ratio must exceed 5:1. Goal is 10:1. In other words, I write a story then find five others (at least) upon which to comment before writing another.
2. For every solo shot or sequel of my own material, I must write a sequel or prequel to the work of another author. If I’m going easy on myself, participating in a challenge also fulfills this requirement.
3. If someone comments on one of my stories, I go find one of theirs upon which to comment. It only seems fair, and I like to think it encourages commenting.
4. Awesomeness is the goal, always. Call me on it when I fail, please.
5. Clearly mark mature content and err on the side of caution.
6. Golden Rule remains in effect for all sequels, prequels, and comments.

Hello. I’m John. Please don’t make fun of me.

I was born in Milton Keynes, England back in 1986, moved to Luton when I was 3, and then moved to Los Angeles shortly after my 21st birthday purely because I could.
I’m the creator and Head Writer for Jump Leads, a Scifi-comedy webcomic which can be found at www.jump-leads.com, the Editor-in-Chief of SoulGeek Webcomics (soulgeek.com/comics/), the co-writer of Left 4 Dead parody webseries “Boomer’s Day Off” (benpaddon.net/boomers-day-off/), and the creator, co-writer and host of PortsCenter (portscenter.tv). I’m also working on a LOT of other projects. Lawks!

Can you write a biography in 1,024 characters or less? I’ve never tried. Here are the basics: I’m Emily. I’m 17.
Here are the not-so-basics: I’ve been writing since I can remember, and the large majority of my stories have never had the privilege of passing about 1,024 characters. So I figure that this is a good medium for me. My longest story—writen for National Novel Writing Month—is significantly longer than most of my others, which throws off my average. (I’ve always hated outliers.)
I could never write without music.

LMR is someone in their late twenties who has yet to figure out who they are and what they will be.
When she auditioned for Wheel of Fortune, she solicited the help of her internet peers in order to find an appropriate occupation. “Minutiae expert” and “internet loafer” were the two responses she got, and quite accurate ones at that. She ended up going with “freelance writer”, a half-lie since she hasn’t done that for years now.
Oddly enough, during round two of the audition process, “free-lance artist” was the puzzle she solved. She thinks it may have been a sign.
You can also find her at http://www.twoplayercoop.com, where she tries to remember about writing about media issues.

I lost my soul when I fell to earth
My planets call me to the void of my birth
The time has come for me to kill this game

Hey guys. What I miss?
I write my stories at 3 AM.
Ficly is nifty, you’re all cool cats.
Bring on the comments, I eat them for breakfast.
I always try to challenge myself. I often bite off more than I can chew.
I don’t rate anymore because I have concluded that I don’t know what I’m talking about. -

A graphic designer by trade and study, I currently freelance for the big bucks. Also, I’m not even pretending that I know what goes on in the world of writing…I just like trying new things.
