A no-name, aspiring author who can’t stop writing. Looking ahead, he strives for perfection. Shackled by various forms of entertainment, he dreams of success. Most stories here are an invitation to YOU, to join me in creating new stories, new worlds, and a different tomorrow.

As a self-proclaimed Knight of Ficly:
I, Sir Bic, do solemnly swear -
To befriend those who befriend me
To follow those who critique me
To make my giving (my stories) but a tenth part of my gifts (my comments)
“Long live the land of Ficly!” – []o)
I strive for a 10:1, comment-to-story ratio, cause the math is easier.
I hope to have as many Ficleteer friends as I have Ficlet stories.

If Megan Kennedy had to give up writing and find a different job, she’d have a tough time choosing between assassin or exorcist.

If you met him on the street, Miles would probably seem quite tangible. This is a common misconception, and the writer would like to gently remind the reader that he does not actually, as such, exist. And also calmly suggests that you should probably discontinue the practice of talking to your hallucinations in public.
“I am a writer, and I will write the words that change the world. Because of me, the world will be changed. But I will not be remembered, nor do I long for such. Because somebody had to write them, and it didn’t have to be me.”

I have a wife, two kids, a cat and a mortgage. I design and maintain websites for a living and have never considered myself a writer. I like board wargaming, drawing and I also attempt to play the trombone. Hopefully, I’m getting better.
Real writers likely to influence my writing style are Kurt Vonnegut, Arthur C. Clarke, Douglas Adams and Robert Sheckley.
