My short stories mainly include rhyme, though I write much, much more, in my spare time. I gratefully accept any feedback, though its for my own fulfillment that I write.
I’m the kind of girl that you see in a corner of the bus every night, smelling the pages of her fantasy novel.

I’m a Pre-Law/History student from Puerto Rico. I own about ten Moleskines and I only use Pilot pens. I’m convinced I was born about seventy years after I should have and I’m a firm believer in the (future) existence of time travel. 2000 was the best year ever.

I like to write science fiction and fantasy, mainly. I have a secret love for steampunk and superheroes, but also ninjas and super-spies. One day I shall endeavour to write a story containing all four.

I’m not much of a writer, or a creative type in general really. Gave that up a while ago, and now mostly just end up telling other people’s stories. Every once in a while though, I’ll come up with something good on my own. Don’t hold your breath looking for it here though.

Just a warning, any story that ends in ‘part #’ or a series in which the title is repeated with a number after it is an attempt to chronicle a card game that my friends and I play, so I’m not particularly interested in feedback on these, but everything else is appreciated.
Thank you to whoever created this site, it is a great way to spend an afternoon.

I am primarily interested in near future technology. That is the topic I most read and write about. I welcome all prequels, sequels, comments, ideas, and constructive criticisms!
PS: I find it very difficult to stick to a 1024 character limit. I have started stories that I intended for ficly, but ended up way over my limit. I’ll keep trying. :)

I am currently writing two online serial novels at April Raines’ Storybook Corner. A dark fantasy called The Shadows of Sicily is the primary one. The secondary story is an exploration of community called GURD 2108. There is also a smattering of poetry.
My favourite books include: ’Kusiel’s Avatar’ by Jacqueline Carey, ‘The Stand’ by Stephen King, ‘New Enlarged Pocket Anthology of Robert Frost’s Poems’, and ‘Unconditional Parenting’ by Alfie Kohn.
