Another one of the refugees from the old Ficlets site. See my old FICLETS HERE!
Not much to say about me really. I write. I play music. I write music. And I enjoy reading Ficly-Stories.I’ve been writing since high-school – which was so long ago, we walked to school in 4ft of snow with no shoes on and bread at the store cost a penny… ok.. .25 cents.. but i was able to get 10 candies for 5 cents.
SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AND WON NANOWRIMO 2008, by writing a novel over 60,000 words long called: Amethyst: Outer-Rim based on a ficlets series written here!
I’ve been bestowed the great honour of being part of the brother-and-sisterhood known as: The League of Awesome. Henceforth I shall bear the monicker: The Master of the +10 Guitar of Awesomeness!

Writer, teacher, & hopeless romantic with a penchant for falling for fictional characters.

This time, it’s mostly Jason’s fault. He’s the one who convinced me that we couldn’t just leave well enough alone. He got the designers to donate their time, and wrote all the HTML, CSS and 95% of the javascript. I did the models and controllers. Nope, we couldn’t just let it go. We had to try it again.

Dr. Tim’s Neurotic Rules of Ficly Life
[Disclaimer: This is not intended to be binding nor in any way an expectation of general members of Ficly, league members, family members or wearers of Member’s Only jackets]
1. Comment to Story posting ratio must exceed 5:1. Goal is 10:1. In other words, I write a story then find five others (at least) upon which to comment before writing another.
2. For every solo shot or sequel of my own material, I must write a sequel or prequel to the work of another author. If I’m going easy on myself, participating in a challenge also fulfills this requirement.
3. If someone comments on one of my stories, I go find one of theirs upon which to comment. It only seems fair, and I like to think it encourages commenting.
4. Awesomeness is the goal, always. Call me on it when I fail, please.
5. Clearly mark mature content and err on the side of caution.
6. Golden Rule remains in effect for all sequels, prequels, and comments.

Read, Rate, Comment, Sequel.
That’s my ficly mantra.
Also, that’s the way I roll.
In my opinion, there’s no better compliment than offering an unsolicited sequel to someone else’s story. I think inspired, good-hearted sequels are more breathtaking than the best comments and ratings will ever be.
I joined the League of Awesome. From this point, I shall be known as the Awestruck Ambassador of Awesome.

I’m so excited! I’ve missed ficlets and our whole family so much… it’s great to be back =]
I’m a proud member of the LoA, and with my buddy George, we are the Awesome Twins.
I like eating cold pizza for breakfast. And sleeping with wet hair. the sound of rain, and the smell of books. I like minty gum and red vines and candy canes. I like playing cards and dancing around to bands like Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head. I like singing to David Bowie and doodling on my jeans. I like to surprise people. Hi =]

Just another procrastinating writer from Scottsdale, Arizona, working on a couple of books & a few short stories. In my spare time, I work at Verizon as a consultant. I first read about ficlets through Scalzi and Wil Wheaton’s blogs. Cool that it’s back online & out of AOL’s deadly grasp.

Never written anything fictional since some failed attempts at school.
But willing to give it a go, on the basis that this is a loving community and anyway, feedback is the best medicine…or something :-)

I’m 18. I live in Chicago, IL.
Uhhh I’m going to school for illustration, but sometimes I just, like, love writing.I was on this site all the time maybe two years ago, but I haven’t been checking routinely in over 10 months.

I’m a screenwriter by nature, so stick with me if I slip up and start writing third person, present tense. I use this site mainly as a bounce board for ideas and an inspection into characters. Kick it.

I was awayschooled, homeschooled and unschooled as a child. I went on to Thomas Aquinas College and majored in Everything in Particular.
I live with four people. One of them likes to wrestle, one has exquisite culinary taste, one goes by the formidable nickname “Boolie Bug”, and one knows a lot more about Shakespeare than I do.

A writer who tries to explores the human heart, as passionately as possible.
Any criticism or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The pen is mightier than the sword. How outdated. In the 1900’s, it would have been, “The typewriter is mightier than the machine gun.” But in modern times? “The word processor is mightier than the particle-beam weapon.”
I play video games, build things with Legos, and try to kid myself into thinking that I’m mature. I love dorking around with computers and I have a strange obsession with hats – nice ones, that is, no baseball caps. My dream is to either become a Masterbuilder or a drummer, and neither seem very close. Such is life.
Since joining Ficly, I’ve come to realize that I love playing off of other people’s work, reshaping their ideas to form some coherent things. Half my stories come either from challenges or from hitting the “Random Story” button and writing a sequel (I highly recommend this, the things that you’ll find are amazing!).

I am just an ordinary girl, living in an ordinary town. There is nothing really remotely special about me.
When I was younger, I used to make up a bunch of stories that I have forgotten over the years, but, when I’m lucky sometimes a story pops into my head, and then it takes a while, but I eventually get it written down.
