I like CLEMENTINES and long walks on the beach.

She always enjoyed this part of her day, when she could get home, unload, unwind, and eat a little something . But what she loved most importantly was to kick off her shoes. For years she lived deplored. Socks on inside, shoes a must outside. Shoes for walking, shoes for climbing, shoes for playing outside, even shoes for going in the water. It never occurred to her that there could be anymore to that.
It wasn’t until she tripped, fell in love and conveniently lost her shoes, that she noticed the whole world was better barefoot and not just her evenings. Here’s to the Hobbits, Barefoot Mailmen, Coal Walkers and all the planter’s warts you can acquire.

An aspiring poet/philosopher/musician/psychologist/photographer (but not in that particular order) living in Florida, is looking for her misplaced inspiration. Looking in music halls, poetry slams, dark rooms and the occasional open field but, searching the deeper depths of writing. She also actually enjoys being barefoot. -

I am one of the Original Ficletters whose beloved website got ripped from their hands. :‘( But it’s better now since we have the offspring website, which is this… FICLY!!! Since we had to wait so long for this glorious website, I also have my writings on Protagonize.com/author/Brebelles So check me out there. :)
Yay! I was just approved for entry into the LoA aka League of Awesomeness! :) Saint Smiley. <3I like feed-back, so PLEASE tell me honestly what you think. Because, how can I improve, if you don’t help me??
I love to write. I write songs and poems.
I’ve been meaning to post stories, but that is not my love. I try and try, but I seem not to succeed. My friends are all creative. I love them and my family. One of my close friends passed away in a terrible car crash. It saddened my family. My best friend Blossom, who is on here as Blossom Ruoqen, was her sister. I LOVE YOU BLAH!! ♥
I’ve been trying to write how I feel.. but I just don’t know how to put it into words. I don’t know the right words to put down. I wish I did, because as much as I know a certain person knows how I feel about them, I’d love to be able to put into words for them.
An Additional Note: Ficly is a second home to those who’s multiple personalities require more room to cultivate their quirkiness. A family of strangers with so much in common, where we hide behind fake names and stories but reveal more of ourselves that way than we ever could.
Favorite author Patrick Carmen Favorite book uh, thats hard….I like Narnia, The Land of Elyon, His Dark Materials

Dr. Tim’s Neurotic Rules of Ficly Life
[Disclaimer: This is not intended to be binding nor in any way an expectation of general members of Ficly, league members, family members or wearers of Member’s Only jackets]
1. Comment to Story posting ratio must exceed 5:1. Goal is 10:1. In other words, I write a story then find five others (at least) upon which to comment before writing another.
2. For every solo shot or sequel of my own material, I must write a sequel or prequel to the work of another author. If I’m going easy on myself, participating in a challenge also fulfills this requirement.
3. If someone comments on one of my stories, I go find one of theirs upon which to comment. It only seems fair, and I like to think it encourages commenting.
4. Awesomeness is the goal, always. Call me on it when I fail, please.
5. Clearly mark mature content and err on the side of caution.
6. Golden Rule remains in effect for all sequels, prequels, and comments.

I am The Blue Sparrow (haha remember that ::takes out sword:: hehe) I am a ficlets survivor and I am very glad to be back.
I am a helpless romantic that stumbled into Ficlets and fell in love with writing. I also fell in love with the family that I came to know on that site. I seemed to grow as a writer more and more and my grades in my english class shot up.
Now in college I try to find time to write even though now it seems like my writing time is consumed by technical research papers. I have changed a lot since I stumbled into Ficlets, but cute sweet poetry is a still a part of my life.
I am in LoA as The Holder of the Blue Crayon of Destiny (see my icon :] )

Hail, good sir, or madame (I musn’t forget the superior sex! ;-] ). My name is Spageti. Good to make your acquaintance. I was born leagues away in a quaint place Christianed as Hamptonshire. My pappy was a writer of ye olde English fiction and me mum a proud housekeeper, the bless’d angel she was… I found it my responsibility to continue my family’s tradition of writin’ stories and housekeepin’, so I drunkenly stumbled onto this bit one night on my way back from Bubbles. Ever since, I’ve been writin’ my stories and making capturing massive adoration from plebians! I’d like to personally thank all me dear friends on this ledger via missive.
From a hoary old man to his captives!

I create profilactic balloon animals with my pinky toes. Sometimes I am a crazy wildchild pseudo-bohemian neohippie party animal. Other times I am not. Always and always I will lie stories like writers do. Be my friend? : )

Somewhere to the…erm…left I think. Yup. I kind of comment on everything. I’m like a commenting freak. And … erm…this is a hell of a lot harder than I anticipated.
I’m also a geek. I’m a Trekky, Lord of the Rings addict, Star Wars fan…well I’ll sum it up by saying I love all things ComicCon. I’m an artist too. Ooh and I love history. And science. I can’t stop playing Assassin’s Creed…and Runescape. So bite me, blondies!!!
I have alcoholic tendencies =P … judgement will be met with drunken vomitting so good luck with that!

______________________…Oh my friend, how
you were mother for me, and how
I could let myself lean on you
comfortable as an old cloth, familiar as enamel saucepans
I was a child again, pyjamaed
in winceyette, my hair plaited, and you
listened, you soothed me like cakes and milk
you listened to me for three days, and I poured
it out, I flowed all over you
like wine, like oil, you touched the place where it hurt
at night we slept together in my big bed
your shoulder eased me towards dreams…Michele Roberts
One of the most difficult things to say to another person is, I hope that you will love me for no good reason. But it is what we all want and rarely dare to say to one another— to our children, to our parents and mates, to our friends, and to strangers. Especially to strangers, who have neither good nor bad reasons to love us.

“If people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done.”
—Ludwig WittgensteinMy name is Wednesday, and I guess you could say that for the most part that quote personifies me. If there were no silliness in this world I would die.
Unfortunately, recently I have been suffering a nervous breakdown. I don’t mind saying that here. The people who know me I trust enough, and to the people I don’t – well here’s an insight. It’s not all shits and giggles on my side of the pond. Because as much as I’d like, life is not just silliness.

and to lie sometimes on the grass

listening to the murmur of the water,
or watching the clouds float across the sky
