I’m 18. I live in Chicago, IL.
Uhhh I’m going to school for illustration, but sometimes I just, like, love writing.I was on this site all the time maybe two years ago, but I haven’t been checking routinely in over 10 months.

Dr. Tim’s Neurotic Rules of Ficly Life
[Disclaimer: This is not intended to be binding nor in any way an expectation of general members of Ficly, league members, family members or wearers of Member’s Only jackets]
1. Comment to Story posting ratio must exceed 5:1. Goal is 10:1. In other words, I write a story then find five others (at least) upon which to comment before writing another.
2. For every solo shot or sequel of my own material, I must write a sequel or prequel to the work of another author. If I’m going easy on myself, participating in a challenge also fulfills this requirement.
3. If someone comments on one of my stories, I go find one of theirs upon which to comment. It only seems fair, and I like to think it encourages commenting.
4. Awesomeness is the goal, always. Call me on it when I fail, please.
5. Clearly mark mature content and err on the side of caution.
6. Golden Rule remains in effect for all sequels, prequels, and comments.

I’m just the average college student trying to keep my A’s, drinking a lot of tea and spending a lot of time with words.
NaNoWriMo? Send me a note!

In ficly I’ve discovered a medium of writing that’s quick, expressive, and just restricted enough to be a wonderful challenge. I love it!

15 year old unprofessional film maker/screenwriter, probably too hopeful about his dream career but oh well :D

I’m Elliot and I hope to post some bits and peices but generally use this to review my friends’ pages and profiles!

I’m a Science Fiction, Fantasy and Romance writer. Creator of the PIACT Undercover Agent series and designer of that nifty logo you see up top. Love to talk writing shop so if you ever want to chat just bell, blip, nudge, smile or chat to me.
I’m that guy who looks like you don’t wanna meet cos he’s so cute there’s gotta be something wrong with him, there isn’t.
Having said that I am a nice guy, just a little eccentric, with a sense of humor that’s out of this world. Like I think it comes from Jupiter or something. So be warned, if I sequel I tends to mess things up a bit since I really like the challenge of changing things from what they look like they’re supposed to be.
Please feel free to ask me not to sequel, please don’t be offended if I have. and if you tell me off I’ll go to a corner and cry… sniff
Okay, now that the niceties are out of the way let’s sharpen our pencils, square off on the paper, and to battle we go!
I tried to make this bio exactly 1024 characters long, I wonder if it worked?

I’m just a guy, you know? I’m a boring guy with little to do who has always had a great interest in writing. I’ve never been able to do anything with it because I don’t seem to have any talent. I’m trying anyway. This site was shown to me by Wil Wheaton and his podcast, Radio Free Burrito and it looks like a great place to kill some time and help me improve.

Well some of you will be interested to know that I’ve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and am currently working a dead end job to pay the bills. I still spend silly amounts of money on books.
I love the music of Dashboard Confessional, Jonsi and Jimmy Eat World. I’m inspired by the works of Neil Gaiman, Diana Wynne Jones and Hayao Miyazaki. I still love Ficly :) -
I’ve been a programmer for over 28 years and have somewhat geeky tendencies.
I have a love of anything Sci-Fi: movies, books, TV, etc. I really enjoy Japanese manga and animé, Ghost in the Shell series being my all-time favorite.
I love music and have a large collection of songs from a wide variety of styles, everything from Classical to Heavy Metal. I enjoy karaoke and sing every weekend at a favorite club.
During the summer, you’ll find me either in the pool or doing something on or around the lake. I’ve loved water my entire life.

Digital vagabond and opportunistic slacker, I’ve yet to find anything I can master for aptness of first ruining through a thorough shalacking of indifference and self-pity.

17 year old attempting to juggle my beloved writing and A-Levels. Please be gentle =) Thought it might be time to write a proper profile piece. I’m…er…Abby. And…well…that’s me there. Somewhere to the…erm…left I think. Yup. I kind of comment on everything. I’m like a commenting freak. And … erm…this is a hell of a lot harder than I anticipated.
I’m also a geek. I’m a Trekky, Lord of the Rings addict, Star Wars fan…well I’ll sum it up by saying I love all things ComicCon. I’m an artist too. Ooh and I love history. And science. I can’t stop playing Assassin’s Creed…and Runescape. So bite me, blondies!!!
I have alcoholic tendencies =P … judgement will be met with drunken vomitting so good luck with that!
If I was religious, I think God would have kicked me out by now. Yet I still class myself as Christian, how odd.
All things truly evil come in cute packages. So don’t mess with the panda hat, OK?
Oh and I’ve written 11 books. But I can’t be bothered to publish. =S
Love ya.

I’m just a guy that likes to write. Mainly science fiction and a little light fantasy. I also like to play video games and spend time with my awesome family.
-
I write poetry. Just poetry. One thing I’m trying to do is write about acts, things, people. Instead of emotion, mostly because I’m just tired of it.
I never quite know how to comment on stories , seeing as I don’t have a firm grasp of what’s involved. If I try and look silly, well, sorry.
But anyway. I write because I love it. Not because I’m good at it, or looking for praise, just because I love it. -

I love to write. One of my life goals is to write a novel, but right now work, church, and family take up most of my spare time. This site helps me scratch that writing itch that pops up occasionally.
My policy is quid pro quo. If you follow me, I will follow you. It’s as simple as that! I’m all about building the community.
Want to write something with me? Send me a note! I’m up for pretty much anything.

Kicking it at the University of Oklahoma. I like writing, science, almost all forms of music (literally), creating constructed languages, graphic/visual arts, and a good book. I will not hesitate in saying I am a Christian and I am darned proud to be an American.

“The last page doesn’t necessarily mean the end.”
Right Now: I’m a 19-year-old girl trying to figure this whole life thing out. So, if you don’t see me for periods of time… I’m doing college. It’s insane
Someday: I will be the girl I know I can be. I’m going to do my very best to always keep on keepin’ on.
Welcome to my World: “I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.”
I have lots of wishes and dreams. I don’t know if any of them will come true, and that’s scary. I have loved and lost, in a different way than you might think. It changed me forever.
Chloe Cypress, you are always in my heart and on my mind. I will never forget you.

I’m a technology freak and fascinated with gadgetry and how it works. I sleep with the radio on to feed an incessant need to be up to date and in touch with the world around me. In stark contrast though, I am perfectly content sitting alone, completely disconnected from everything. I guess I’m weird that way.

“If people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done.”
—Ludwig WittgensteinMy name is Wednesday, and I guess you could say that for the most part that quote personifies me. If there were no silliness in this world I would die.
Unfortunately, recently I have been suffering a nervous breakdown. I don’t mind saying that here. The people who know me I trust enough, and to the people I don’t – well here’s an insight. It’s not all shits and giggles on my side of the pond. Because as much as I’d like, life is not just silliness.

This is PJ Deane’s account that she can use at school.
“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life…You give them a piece of you. They didn’t ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like ‘maybe we should be just friends’ turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It’s a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”

I’ve recently developed an interest in writing short stories, for my own pleasure as well as the pleasure of others. Writing is a very new hobby for me. I welcome your comments.
