I’ve been unfortunately dormant for the last few weeks (or months), so it’s your responsibility to yell at me and make me write. Yours, not mine. I’ll do the best I can, but really, it’s up to you.
If you comment my stuff, please be as nit-picky as necessary. I crave constructive criticism. Also alliteration.
If you want to start a series with me, drop a note! Remember to comment on everything, rate, and use the Random Story button at the bottom of the page.
Warning: Shameless Plug Ahead Had around 570 ficlets on the old site—you can read ’em through the link above if you like.

Well, frankly, I’m a guy who loves to read and write. So, my friend turned me on to this website, and I love it. I’m not a survivor from ficlets or anything so i’ll be getting the hang of this. I also kinda like photography, and i take alot of pictures and post them, mainly outdoor plants and wildlife. It’s pretty fun. I’ll change my “buddy icon” everyday with a new picture i have taken, so this will be interesting. Well, it’s summer so i shall be writing alot. See you around.

A very strange man whose strangeness is only partially due to Asperger’s Syndrome. He is an English major and now a grad student, in case you couldn’t tell, fighting a constant struggle to set aside some little time for writing.

Dare to try. I like diversity and immagination. What happens next. With a B.V.A. Degree I do not get away from paper work. I am also a Registered nurse.(General, Psychiatric,Mental Retardation and hold certificates in Immunization and Management. I like to interact with people across all mediums. My favourite places are Paris and New Orleans.(and Australia)
Please be kind and leave constructive criticism as I’m from the land down under and the way I describe things may be a wee bit different to the way you verbalise. -
Australian, born in 1977, possibly human. Haven’t written fiction in a long time, but “Zerrakhi” was a character name I used back in the day and I’ve always liked it. I dabble in creativity of all kinds.

Growing up I have always found time to write stories, mostly fiction and fantasy. Occasionally, I would find myself writing about an experience of mine (which has led to me keeping a diary, for lack of a better term, filled with one liners, quotes, secrets, entries, doodles, and sketches) through the eyes of another or creating characters with values and desires I have or wish to have. Because writing is boundless I am able to explore all of these areas, whether they be on the surface or hidden away in the darkest recesses of my mind. To be limitless is the ultimate appeal of the written word. However, as I’ve gotten older, my time is divided up between duties, higher education, “growing up,” striving to be self-actualized, etc. leaving very little time for writing. Being almost 19 years old, I have decided to finally take charge and change this fact. Not only will I contribute to Ficly daily, but I am also starting a project at home: 501 Writing Prompts where I try to complete each one thoroughly.

“At night in any kind of light, in twilight, candlelight, lamplight, and worst of all by moonlight, it becomes bars! The outside pattern, I mean, and the woman behind it is as plain as can be.
I didn’t realize for a long time what the thing was that showed behind, that dim sub-pattern, but now I am quite sure it is a woman.”—Charlotte Perkins Gilman, “The Yellow Wallpaper”

I come and sit in the evening, thinking about my day. Wondering what I could write about. Trying to think of something interesting, something that would be appealing to others.
But my writing can be great, or it can be completey weird.
So read at your own risk (:
I am a teenage girl who cannot match up to the wonderful writers on this site. But I try.
I am my own person. I will not judge a book by it’s cover, and I’m generally easy to talk to.
And to make it fairly simple, I love to write.

In ficly I’ve discovered a medium of writing that’s quick, expressive, and just restricted enough to be a wonderful challenge. I love it!

Hi, dear reader. I am the publisher of the completely random “When the clock struck four…” series of short stories. They are all interconnected and will come to a great conclusion. I am a very small contributor to “The Happy Goat” series by the author “Shorts”. In that series I am currently writing “The Happy Goat Bible” and “The Birth of the Happy Goat”. I in no way intend to offend those who read my stories, and will never produce one of those dirty little sex stories which seem ever popular. They remind me of Twilight, another one of my pet hated things.
Cheers,

I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled poets to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean.

You know the thing that’s kept me from being an author?
