“If people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done.”
—Ludwig WittgensteinMy name is Wednesday, and I guess you could say that for the most part that quote personifies me. If there were no silliness in this world I would die.
However, I guess it’s not all shits and giggles on my side of the pond. Because as much as I’d like, life is not just silliness.

and to lie sometimes on the grass
under trees on a summer’s day,
listening to the murmur of the water,
or watching the clouds float across the sky
is by no means a waste of time.

I go places. I see people. I live.
I write a lot about myself
I just add in details to make myself look cooler.
But in reality…
I’m still pretty fucking cool. -

In short, the Electric Hillbilly is a free and untrammelled citizen of the great state of Alabama, who lives in the hills, has no means to speak of, dresses as he can, talks as he pleases, drinks whiskey when he can get it, and fires off his rifle as the fancy takes him.

I was awayschooled, homeschooled and unschooled as a child. I went on to Thomas Aquinas College and majored in Everything in Particular.
I live with four people. One of them likes to wrestle, one has exquisite culinary taste, one goes by the formidable nickname “Boolie Bug”, and one knows a lot more about Shakespeare than I do.

I write poetry. Just poetry. One thing I’m trying to do is write about acts, things, people. Instead of emotion, mostly because I’m just tired of it.
I never quite know how to comment on stories , seeing as I don’t have a firm grasp of what’s involved. If I try and look silly, well, sorry.
But anyway. I write because I love it. Not because I’m good at it, or looking for praise, just because I love it. -
What defines a writer? Is it someone who can put a few words together to make a sentence, or is it someone who writes with professional English skills?
I don’t know, I am only 13 and therefore don’t know much about writing techniques but I do know that every word I do write that is to do with stories, poems or plays – from Shakespeare essays to descriptive writing- I love. :)
I hope you like my stories and if not have fun writing your own,
Emily

What to say, what to say… Ok, think I got it.
In general, I am the kind of person that sits in the rain, drinks out of bowls, and yells at inanimate objects. I talk to myself a lot, but don’t let that fool you… I am not a social person (socially awkward is an understatement :D). I, like so many others, am still waiting for my acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Some of my weaknesses include my fear of sock monkeys, my inability to breath under water, and the fact that I cannot move while I’m unconscious. I don’t like long walks on sandy beaches; I’d much rather walk through a cemetery at midnight.
On a more serious note, the two most important things in my life are writing and music. I am not the best writer by any means, but I love it. It’s like a pressure release valve in my head (very useful indeed). I cannot tell you how many stories I have started and have not finished. Most of my writing is done in the middle of the night (curse you, insomnia!). -

I’m a fan of lovable characters, plot twists, wacky concepts and amazing new worlds, in my reading and in my writing. My characters are my babies, so it hurts me when I hurt them. Thats why I pay for their medical bills. I’m kidding of course. Nice to meet you.

English and Music teacher, and creative loony.
I am “blue tapioca” at writerscafe.org. I would like to invite you to read some of my longer material there: http://www.writerscafe.org/bluetapiocaI am working on a novella about Sherlock Holmes and Watson from the point of view of a third person omniscient narrator.
I also have in full draft form a bittersweet story of genderqueer net friends: their proposed first meeting abroad and their beautiful relationship, and how the friendship eventually ended. I would value your comments on either or both stories.
Thank you! -
