For more Happy Goat Stories, see some of Elder Lyons stories (The Happy Goat Bible and Birth of the Happy Goat Part 1). My goal is to tell the story of the Happy Goat and the perils that he must overcome in order to become leader of the mythical farm, somewhere in New Zealand. This sequence of short stories is represented by my avatar.

I am a young writer who enjoys expressing herself with ink and paper… once it is printed from the computer.

Kicking it at the University of Oklahoma. I like writing, science, almost all forms of music (literally), creating constructed languages, graphic/visual arts, and a good book. I will not hesitate in saying I am a Christian and I am darned proud to be an American.

The pen is mightier than the sword. How outdated. In the 1900’s, it would have been, “The typewriter is mightier than the machine gun.” But in modern times? “The word processor is mightier than the particle-beam weapon.”
I play video games, build things with Legos, and try to kid myself into thinking that I’m mature. I love dorking around with computers and I have a strange obsession with hats – nice ones, that is, no baseball caps. My dream is to either become a Masterbuilder or a drummer, and neither seem very close. Such is life.
Since joining Ficly, I’ve come to realize that I love playing off of other people’s work, reshaping their ideas to form some coherent things. Half my stories come either from challenges or from hitting the “Random Story” button and writing a sequel (I highly recommend this, the things that you’ll find are amazing!).

Wow. I’ve been gone for awhile. Life has sort of taken over and my writing has withered along with the leaves on the trees. I feel I should have forced the writing when I felt less than inspired, but those days also seemed overwhelming in so many ways, so I stayed away. I think today is the day I would like to dust off the keyboard and begin the journey once more to find and hone my voice. I can only hope that there are some who will stick with me as I make my way back towards the literary world.

Hello world, I’m a very verbose person, typically my ‘short stories’ end up around about 50 odd pages :) So read, rate, love, hate, prequel, sequel my stories. Advice is welcome!

Well some of you will be interested to know that I’ve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and am currently working a dead end job to pay the bills. I still spend silly amounts of money on books.
I love the music of Dashboard Confessional, Jonsi and Jimmy Eat World. I’m inspired by the works of Neil Gaiman, Diana Wynne Jones and Hayao Miyazaki. I still love Ficly :) -
I migrated from Arabia to South-East Asia by camel. Hence, I am one.

Hi, dear reader. I am the publisher of the completely random “When the clock struck four…” series of short stories. They are all interconnected and will come to a great conclusion. I am a very small contributor to “The Happy Goat” series by the author “Shorts”. In that series I am currently writing “The Happy Goat Bible” and “The Birth of the Happy Goat”. I in no way intend to offend those who read my stories, and will never produce one of those dirty little sex stories which seem ever popular. They remind me of Twilight, another one of my pet hated things.
Cheers,
The Athiest -
I don’t comment as much as I should. My somewhat low standards prevent me from offering proper criticism, sometimes, and when I enjoy a story I typically enjoy it for the story. Pointing out flaws in your work may aid you in perfecting your skills technically, but they rarely make the experience more pleasant for me personally. I am aware that this is a selfish reason for commenting so little and I’m working on it.
That said, I greatly appreciate all comments and criticism. Though I tend to focus more on the story and less on the skill of other writer, I lack confidence and seek always to suck less.

I am just a student, wishing for my big break.
I am a tiny dancer. What else do you have to know?
I am an actor.
“I love acting. It is so much more real than life.”
I am a singer.
“But I have a talent, a wonderful thing
cause everyone listens when I start to sing
I’m so grateful and proud
All I want is to sing it out loud.”Ah, to write. It’s a beautiful thing. I love writing all the time, everywhere and anywhere I go. Nothing will stop me, I swear. I love writing all my emotions on paper. I love feeling the pen scratching on the paper. Ideas flow through me, drip down my soul. I am a poet, I am a novelist.
You gotta love the little joys in life.Series going on at the moment:

In ficly I’ve discovered a medium of writing that’s quick, expressive, and just restricted enough to be a wonderful challenge. I love it!

17 year old attempting to juggle my beloved writing and A-Levels. Please be gentle =) Thought it might be time to write a proper profile piece. I’m…er…Abby. And…well…that’s me there. Somewhere to the…erm…left I think. Yup. I kind of comment on everything. I’m like a commenting freak. And … erm…this is a hell of a lot harder than I anticipated.
I’m also a geek. I’m a Trekky, Lord of the Rings addict, Star Wars fan…well I’ll sum it up by saying I love all things ComicCon. I’m an artist too. Ooh and I love history. And science. I can’t stop playing Assassin’s Creed…and Runescape. So bite me, blondies!!!
I have alcoholic tendencies =P … judgement will be met with drunken vomitting so good luck with that!
If I was religious, I think God would have kicked me out by now. Yet I still class myself as Christian, how odd.
All things truly evil come in cute packages. So don’t mess with the panda hat, OK?
Oh and I’ve written 11 books. But I can’t be bothered to publish. =S
Love ya.

I tell it like it is. My stories are based on truths. Whether they are my truths, my friends/relatives’ or historical ones are for you to decide.

I love to write. One of my life goals is to write a novel, but right now work, church, and family take up most of my spare time. This site helps me scratch that writing itch that pops up occasionally.
My policy is quid pro quo. If you follow me, I will follow you. It’s as simple as that! I’m all about building the community.
Want to write something with me? Send me a note! I’m up for pretty much anything.

I guess this will do.

“If people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done.”
—Ludwig WittgensteinMy name is Wednesday, and I guess you could say that for the most part that quote personifies me. If there were no silliness in this world I would die.
Unfortunately, recently I have been suffering a nervous breakdown. I don’t mind saying that here. The people who know me I trust enough, and to the people I don’t – well here’s an insight. It’s not all shits and giggles on my side of the pond. Because as much as I’d like, life is not just silliness.

Hi. I am a 17-year-old, American student. My full name is Drew Michael Klopfer. I am an Ohioan. Go Bucks! Please feel free to give me constructive criticism. It’s good for me. I’m the League of Awesomenness’s SeƱor del Suspenso (Lord of Suspense). And I don’t really like reading.

LMR is someone in their late twenties who has yet to figure out who they are and what they will be.
When she auditioned for Wheel of Fortune, she solicited the help of her internet peers in order to find an appropriate occupation. “Minutiae expert” and “internet loafer” were the two responses she got, and quite accurate ones at that. She ended up going with “freelance writer”, a half-lie since she hasn’t done that for years now.
Oddly enough, during round two of the audition process, “free-lance artist” was the puzzle she solved. She thinks it may have been a sign.
You can also find her at http://www.twoplayercoop.com, where she tries to remember about writing about media issues.

Hey guys. What I miss?
I write my stories at 3 AM.
Ficly is nifty, you’re all cool cats.
Bring on the comments, I eat them for breakfast.
I always try to challenge myself. I often bite off more than I can chew.
I don’t rate anymore because I have concluded that I don’t know what I’m talking about. -
My bio is under construction, so please watch your step and look out for stray characters.

I am just an ordinary girl, living in an ordinary town. There is nothing really remotely special about me.
When I was younger, I used to make up a bunch of stories that I have forgotten over the years, but, when I’m lucky sometimes a story pops into my head, and then it takes a while, but I eventually get it written down.

I like to write.
