Mona Lisa's Smile

This challenge has ended!

Due to my recent art history exam, I want you to write a story about a famous painting, or at least one that we can google. For instance:

The Mona Lisa:
Slowly the boredom enveloped me. How long had I been sitting there, posing for Leonardo? He had told me to smile and act naturally, but the muscles in my cheeks were hurting more than ever, I began lowering the edges of my lips. Finally he was done. I looked. Astonished, I realized just how flat my smile had gone.

1. You must comment afterwards with the name of the painting, and the artist.
2. The work of art must be searchable through google.
3. The story is about the scene in the painting.
4. In order to rate or leave a comment on any story, you must FIRST search the painting before reading!!! This is key. It is good, as readers to have in mind what the author of the story is trying to portray.
5. THIS IS NOT A DESCRIPTION CHALLENGE!! Don’t describe the painting, give something new that we don’t know about; in form of story.
