A Writer's Style - Break The Fourth Wall!

The results for the first ’writer’s style’ challenge will go up tomorrow as I’m too tired to judge now, but I do have time to set up your next mission!

In your entry to this challenge, I ask you to utilise the technique of ‘breaking the fourth wall’, or ‘direct address’.

With this technique, your character needs to address the reader directly – meaning that you can choose to acknowledge to the audience that what is being presented is fiction, or may seek to extend the world of the story to provide the illusion that they are included in it – to isolate or to immerse – either provide ample opportunities for creativity and flair!

I hope it is appreciated that the literary motifs making up this series will not always be common or easy, but seeing how the first challenge in the series was handled so well, I think I can try to push the boundaries of your writing even further!

Good luck…
