Bees

Marie-Therese squinted through her non-prescription spectacles at her friend Elliot in a satirical kind of fashion, for Elliot is clearly a satirical name. Especially for a bee, which he happened to be.

The name openly ridicules the letter ‘t’ as only one is included in that particular spelling.

Habitually, Marie-Therese felt so inclined to seek oblivion that she pondered on the subject of trivial things. Yet now, realising her true fate as she gazed at the banal insect, she experienced an urge to levitate.

When further thought on the matter ceased to appear, she retired to an empty clamshell to think.
