“I love you” Kyle said.

“I love you. I love you. I Love you. I love you Ugh, I give up! How do I tell you how I feel?”

He takes a step back, and a deep breath.

“I LOVE you.” No, that just sounds like I’m choking on my own saliva.

He turned away, took another deep breath. Okay I can do this!

He turned back around and said “I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone, ever. I’ve loved you since 4th grade, and ever since then my love has only gotten stronger. I always want to see you and even when I’m with you I feel like I miss you. I want to be able to hold you in my arms forever without ever having to let go. I want you to feel the same way about me. I’ve never wanted to punch someone in the face as much as I want to punch your stupid boyfriend in the face. Love me, please?”

Wow, that doesn’t sound desperate at all!

“Kyle, honey I need to use the bathroom!”

“Alright, mom!”
