Thomas had known from an early age that he was the adopted son of Teri and Oscar. He had been so fortunate in his life but somehow he had a yearning to know his true parents.
On his sisteenth birthday he asked Oscar to help discover who his real parents were. He did not want Teri to know because he thought she would think he was selfish.
Oscar approached the orphanage for release of the records. He was given the appropriate forms to fill out and then all they had to do was wait for release of documents.
Just prior to his 18th birthday Thomas received the information he had waited for. It was beyond belief and as he told the story to Oscar tears fell down between them as they embraced.
