One of the more touching zombie stories I’ve read of late. Definitely does a nice job of paralleling from a pet owner’s perspective that classic zombie movie moment of the zombie the hero or heroine knew before the zombification.

I like the overall Zombie Attack motif. I agree with THX, nice to see the owner’s emotion at the death of a beloved pet.
