Plan In Action

“Excellent.” I said. I clapped my hands and in a blink of an eye we were in the streets of the city. The people were walking and talking, doing business and kissing; they did what normal young humans do.

“Using your powers so evidently, huh? Aren’t you afraid of getting burned?” Abranis said, smiling.

“As if humans would even notice. But let’s stay on task, shall we?” He nodded. “See that girl exactly three meters from us, siting on that bench eating a salad? That’s going to be the last salad she ever eats.”

“How do you expect me to kill her? Follow her in an alley?”

“Of course not, you fool. That’d be too easy. Let’s have some fun. Get close to her.”

“How do you expect me to do that?”

“Easy.” I fall to the ground, using the oldest trick in the book. “Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”

I knew her personality wouldn’t let her stay seated long. While others walked passed me, she ran towards me and Abranis.

“Someone call for help!” She yelled, oblivious to our plan.
