Tim

No!

This is not how it’s supposed to be! We’re still in Middle School for Christ’s sake.

Tim slouched in his seat as he heard the announcement. He remembered looking at the High School kids. Touching, holding, kissing… I just want to hang out with my friends, my guys. He knew everything would change as they grew older, he just didn’t expect it so fast. His older brother, a pot-smoking, girl-wrangling, cool kid had demonstrated enough to him that life gets a million times more complicated the older you get. And then there were his lifeless, robotic parents. He held his breath, closed his eyes, swallowed, and said good bye to his careless, free life as a kid.

At least none of my friends have the balls to ask the girls out, or did they?
