Morana (2)

I woke up early that morning when the sun was glowing in my face and music was playing downstairs. I put on a tank top and shorts to go see who was playing. I quietly walked down stairs, smiling at the tune of the music. When I got down stairs I saw Morana sitting at the black piano. “Avery” Morana said as I sat down next to her. “Morana” I replied. We sat in silence; saying nothing. The music over joyed my heart and my soul. “Avery, I know you write songs, why don’t you play one?” Morana asked. “I never will be as skilled as you” I replied. “It takes practice” Morana said as she walks to the kitchen. I started to play one of my pieces, my fingers gliding on the keys. I let my fingers take over from there.
