Beginning

When Desmond and his twin sister Eleine were born, their birth was not celebrated. In fact, it was the opposite, their parents were scorned and punished.

See, these young children were the offspring of angels; the creatures that were supposed to be chaste. Children born into heaven were forbidden because they had not earned their places in the heavenly plane. Due to this Desmond and his sister obviously had a hard time. They were looked down upon and treated badly. Abused and disrespected.

Though, it wasn’t entirely direct. The adult angels would only scoff at the children behind their back, or be extremely subtle about their dislike. The young angels were much more open. They bullied them and picked on them. For the two children, who were highly intelligent, it wasn’t hard to figure out why the children hated them. It was because the adults hated them.
