Time of Your Life

Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road.

Time grabs you by the wrist;
directs you where to go.

The world turns upside down when you are faced head on with it. It’s scary walking into school on your last day ever and all you have left are memories, a diploma and whatever knowledge you gleamed in those short years.

I certainly feel that way today.

Walking into the classroom seeing your friends, some for the last time brings a tear to my eye, a manly tear, but a tear dangit!

The class begins and we sit through about 2 hours of lecture, then when it’s all over, it’s all over.

I say my goodbyes to those who are leaving, and I get even more choked up than before. These are people I fought the good fight with. People I have worked hard on assignments with. People who are passionate about what we do. Above all that, those people are my friends.

Exiting the class my inner soundtrack plays:

It’s something unpredictable
but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
