Ha Ha Ha! Hee Hee Hee!

Ha ha ha!
Hee hee hee!
I am the demon!
Ho! That’s me!

Once I was a little worm
Living by sunlight, snow, and rain
But since my birth I’d wail and squirm
Till my poor mother thought me insane!

I craved darkness!
Hee hee hee!
I am the demon!
Ho! That’s me!

I joined the boy scouts at the age of nine
And performed one bad deed per day
What was in their pockets soon became mine
I stole, I bit, and I fought- hooray!

I was so evil!
Hee hee hee!
I am the demon!
Ho! That’s me!

I stole from the rich and gave to the poor
I quarreled with my siblings each and every day
I killed my mother- an act all deplore-
Till finally my dreams came underway!

To be a demon!
Hee hee hee!
In hot, hellish weather!
Ho! That’s me!

Down down down through clay and soil
Down down down through earth and rock
Down down down I did toil
Down down down I met the flock

I am the demon!
Ha ha hee!
I am the demon!
Ho! That’s me!

Millions of frightened finks
Begging pardon for each sin
The Devil and I shared secret winks
In our idea of Heaven
