An Un-Ease

A couple of hours later, she arrived to her destination, afraid of what could happen next.
She learned a lot about herself on that ride to New York. She learned that she still does care for him, and she would do anything for him.

He was her Wade, as she was his Noah (insider).

She sat in her car, across from the address that Sammy gave her. It was 2:23am in Brooklyn, New York. She felt a little ease because her windows of her red Honda Civic were all tinted, so no one could look in.

She tapped her fingers on the steering wheel. She stared across the street, to see a shadow figure limping. She couldn’t see the person but it was walking with a limp. She was too afraid to get out of the car, so she picked up her phone and called Sammy.

The shadow figure didn’t react but Sammy did pick up.
“Brandy?” he whispered.
“Where are you? I’m here. You didn’t get my text?”
“I didn’t. Thank you so much for coming, but I’m okay now.”
“WHAT! Are you serious?!”
He laughed, “So easy. I see your car, I’m coming!”
