[field report from the datastack of Expedition Leader S’ri-Leun]

The dominant language on planet ‘Earth’ is known as English. It is simple enough to master; I have instructed the entire Expedition to learn it.

Earthpeople are primitive, having made only minimal effort to explore beyond their system. They seem more interested in mutual self-destruction.

Their weapons systems were easily disabled by our equipment – much of their technology can be rendered ineffective with an electro-magnetic pulse.

The people of Earth attempted to use force against the Expedition, until they realised that their systems were useless. Since this point they have, generally, welcomed our party.

I am concerned, however, that some Earthpeople do not welcome our presence. They seem to possess especially xenophobic beliefs. I fear that we are not safe, and have ordered the Expedition to remain in our ships.

Should this report be my last, I recommend that the Dynasty does not behave cruelly towards these people…. [report ends]
