Time Passes (or: Long After The Day of Swearing)

In hindsight, I guess being stranded in 2007 wasn’t so bad. You’d be amazed at how much the world had yet to go through after 2007: a new president, tsunamis, earthquakes, oil spills, recessions, unexpected celebrity deaths, and so on.

To be honest, 2007 wasn’t really a year I’d write home about.

Which is exactly the way I wanted it…

I spent the time after my failed attempt to return to my Present (or what should technically be called My Distant Perception Of The Present) wandering through the blueprints of my past way of living.

I talked to friends I once knew.

I worked in my old dead-end job.

I studied again with the same mixture of Occasional Fervour and Frequent Slacking as before, so at least my grades wouldn’t affect my Timeline (though in what way I couldn’t fathom).

I went through the motions, kept my head down…

Blah blah blah.

This is even boring to write about!

So from here, I segue to the enthralling point in which I crossed paths with the Mystery Girl once again…
