After Rose had left, they looked at each other and shrugged at the same time, the mirrors duplicating them, as they duplicated one another. There were moments where they didn’t just look alike, they thought alike too. It was as if they were the same person in two marginally different bodies.

Honey lovingly touseled Dandy’s hair. “Well, as our only client for the evening was usurped, what do you want to do?”

“Let’s go out. Maybe do a little drinking, a little dancing…” Dandelion’s answer faded away and he began humming snippets of Franz Chop’s “Kiss Me Once Again”. He grabbed his sister’s hand and began to waltz around the room.

“Alright, you convinced me. We can go. Who else should we invite? Cabbi? Or Thyme?” Honey broke away as they neared the closet.

“I thought that we could go ourselves- just the two of us.”

“You know Mother Rose doesn’t like us to go out without some security- even if it’s just travelling in a group.”

“She’ll never know we were gone. You know how she gets when she has a client.”
