Conclusion::

Little did they know that while talking in such hushed tones and urgency, the “People” were listening, and for good reason. The community that Darren and Erin lived in housed in a free-form mental illness facility, where the patients could roam free under supervision. Darren and Erin lived in the section of the paranoid schizophrenics.

Doctors and nurses were very concerned about the well-being of Darren and those he associated with, which was the cause of the house visit earlier in the day. They wanted to keep a strict eye on him, so they listened to their conversation from the microphones they had placed in each room.

Erin did not, in fact, disappear from this world. Darren had merely got a needle of sleeping formula and was taken to solitary confinement where he wouldn’t be harmful of others or making others fearful of the nurses as he did Erin.
