Jaspers Bunnies-kid poem-PART 2

She searched up and down
In sheets and under,
In hampers and the bathtub
Where did that rabbit wander?
And then she sat
Because she looked all about,
“We can’t leave without him,”
She said with a pout,
And her momma said “Honey,”
And wiped away her tear,
“Don’t be sad,
I’m sure Pat is very near,
We’ll look all around
And then we’ll look again
And we’ll be sure to find
Your fine furry friend.”
They searched left and right
And here and there,
Under pillows and tables
And beds and chairs
In cabinets and drawers
On the shelf and behind
Then finally, suddenly,
They heard a faint whine.
