Train (Station) of Thought

The train stations were always busiest at night. With dreaming locomotives constantly loading and unloading passengers, trains of thought barreling down whimsical and ever-shifting tracks, inspirational passengers headed to hidden destinations to light the way for tracks under construction.

The train station had hundreds of people who lived there. Familiar faces, children of memory, business men of work relations, couples of past loves, creatures of nightmares, and writers, poets, artists, actors, and musicians of ideas. All had the goal of keeping the trains moving at full speed, a mind reeling in each engine.

Since the trains had minds of their own, they race through all sorts of alleys, backstreets, highways, side streets, and shortcuts which made them have to backtrack quite frequently. The trains always had somewhere to go, sometimes frequenting a certain subject or exploring new track.

The nights were always busiest. The nights were always lit with rusty, shiny, stolen, illegal, & classified trains.
