Home Invaders (#10)

We sneak into your home late at night, completely undetected. You foolishly think you can keep us out, but we will always find a way in. A window, left carelessly open, can be our point of entry. Or a torn screen, or a cat door, even a chimney, if we’re desperate.

Once inside, we do our best to remain unnoticed. People don’t usually take kindly to home invaders. Our main goal is not to kill. At least, not you. We don’t wan’t to steal. At least, not anything you want. And we most certainly don’t want to bother you. Yet you humans always find it necessary to squish us, or destroy our homes with vacuum cleaners, or scream and run away.

So I ask, what has a spider ever done to you?
