A Treatise on Thought: Part 1 (2/4)

There is no way to prove what precisely happened between nothing and something. It is safe to assume that something did happen, although not entirely necessary. An increasing number of the world’s populous has become aware of the very real possibility that our perceived existence is, in and of itself, a manifestation of nothing. Some claim we are our own dream, others that we are merely players in the dreams and imaginations of a superior being. This notion of our existing in nothingness is rather stupid, however. Mankind’s ability to rationalize, question, investigate, and discover makes it highly unlikely that our existence is anything but quantifiably real.
