Risks don't always pay off for everyone...

Risks don’t always pay off. Not for everyone. I took a risk once. I encouraged my little brother to touch an asteroid at the space exhibit at the museum. How was I supposed to know that the asteroid would tip over and crack open?! How was I supposed to know that it would be filled with a dangerous glowing rock that would put my little brother in the hospital?! I was ten! But when he miraculously got better, and came out of the hospital, he was different. He was more powerful than before. Stronger and faster than any normal human being. At first, he was an outcast. Until one day, when he saved a lady that was trapped underneath a car. Suddenly, he’s a “hero!” He’s “too important” for me. That ungrateful little jerk! Well, we’ll see. Two can play at that game! This risk may not have payed off for me, but just you wait. It’s MY turn to shine! I will take him down, and EVERYONE will see him for what he always has been: a FREAK! If HE is what a “true hero” is, then my only option is to be a “villain.”
