It all began in the 80s with the wild hair and then the 90s happened with rocker grunge coming out of Seattle Washington. If you were not a fan of that type of music, maybe you preferred the pop music of that decade. When the 2000s came on the scene, the music was horrible. The only good thing to come out of that decade was Linkin Park and Lady Gaga. In 2008 there were a few good bands but the 10s have proven to be a great decade for Alternative rock so far.
