Electro-dance hip-hop
Lasers overhead
Jump to the rhythm
Laser in my head

Head-up radar beeping
Picking up my goal
Silken stole above
Strapless gown below

Below my beating heart
My morning egg resides
It’s cramping up my stomach
It’s stabbing at my side

Sideways thru the dancers
As I start to choke
I buy some Mentos tablets
And super-size a Coke

Coke and Mentos treatment
This I soon regret
Reactants in my stomach
Esophagus a jet

Well told. How many times have we concealed various discomforts in public.

Hilarious and spot on. For some reason the line about the strapless gown made me giggle.

…the line about my morning egg was the one that got me.

A lurching feel, palpable discomfort – neat depiction of someone having a generally bad time. Also pretty funny.
