Case # CZ273 - Defense fights back.

Plaintiff Lawyer Tillman: “Look, Zoo officials recklessly and willfully trained and encouraged the dolphins to throw water at the spectators in the stands, making the floor wet and slippery. There were no warning signs posted. No protective mats,”

Emily Chase (Defense Lawyer): “It’s a dolphin show – with a HUGE sign with a dolphin splashing water!”
Judge: “Ok, that’s enough posturing, everyone,” (looks over the affidavits before him, “I don’t suppose there will be a plea-bargain tabled in this case,”

Chase: “No way, Your Honor,”
Tillman: “Can we not agree that signs should be posted stating clearly that the ground is wet and slippery,”
Chase (annoyed): “Isn’t that kinda posting a huge billboard at the beach stating: WARNING: OCEAN IS WET, Bob? Come on, this is ridiculous. We’ve all been to events like this, Judge. Everyone knows the ground is wet. It’s a Marine Exhibit for Christ Sakes!”
Judge (hammering the mallet down) : “Don’t make me charge you with contempt, Councillor,”
Chase: “Sorry Judge.”
