Fueling the Vessel

Let’s talk about fueling this vessel.

First, there’s one fuel loading chamber. The chamber feeds the fuel into the processing system. The system converts the fuel into energy and stores any excess. The processors produce a by-product from the fuels. The waste is stored near the release valves. Once storage has reached capacity, a signal is sent to the controller. Once the control center receives the signal, the order to release the by-products is given.

Waste release is fairly straight forward. Waste is ejected from hatches, dependent on form, and released into the universe. The nature of the processing station and the most abundant fuel types tend to produce more solid wastes than liquids. From this consideration, the solid waste evacuation hatch is much larger than the liquid evacuation hatch.

Fuel need not be a specific type in order to be processed, but certain types are more effective than others. In addition, some materials may actually harm the vessel’s inner mechanisms. These should be avoided.
