s13 INTERWRIT Challenge: Story In Pieces, Backwards!
For our class, though if you want to try from outside the class, make your own separate response to the challenge, please.
First person of each group, please accept the challenge on this page, and later people post theirs as PREQUELS to the previous person’s post.
Final Lines:
As the last of the party guests said their goodbyes and left Parker’s tiny apartment, he looked around at the wreckage. Sally was still there, sleeping on the couch, snoring a little. “Ah well, at least that jerk has finally left her alone,” he thought, as he closed the door and shut off the lights.
That is the end of Person 1’s initial response to this challenge.
Goal: to have the last person have this as the START of their final prequel:
Parker’s phone was ringing; he didn’t know how long it had been ringing—maybe a while. He reached out in the darkness to answer it. “Good grief, 3 AM,” he groaned as he picked it up. It was Sally again. “Hi Sal,” he mumbled as he hit the green button.
Enjoy! Sorry to post this late.
