As writers, either professionally or recreationally, we must have a firm and unique grasp of language, as well as a wide vocabulary. For this reason, I propose the following:

Go to http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/archive and choose any word you want from the list. Using this word, create a story. You can use the word and its definition as inspiration, or use it in the story itself, or whatever other creative way you can think of. Make sure to include a link to the word’s definition for those of us who don’t know that word.

Multiple entries are allowed and encouraged. Bonus “points” if you can tie multiple entries together with totally different words.
