I’m reaching back into Ancient Ficlets History yet again for this challenge.

Most of the time tales are told through prose, but sometimes it’s good to mix it up a bit. Simply put, Your Challenge is to tell a story through poetry, like an epic poem. I’m not looking for a tale to last the centuries comparable to Homer’s Oddesey or anything. I’m looking for a good story told through verse as opposed to prose. Some kind of structure is appreciated (limerick, sonnet, some kind of rhyme scheme), but I will accept free verse, as well as multiple ficlys. My only stipulation is that, again, there must be a plot of some kind.
