Twisted Ending
The car stopped on a dime. Too bad it was still in the pedestrian’s pocket.
The task is to write a ficly (maximum of 1024 characters) where the ending is totally unpredictable. It can be any genre and any style. Most points will be awarded to an ending that fits with the style of the story.
Some techniques you may want to use (these will earn bonus points): unreliable narrator, flashbacks, poetic justice, peripeteia, red herring and deus ex machina
Remember: the most important thing is that the story must be fluid!
