History tends to favor those who win. Literature tends to favor those who fight. Your challenge is to write a story of an epic battle, in which the hero loses, but is remembered in a positive light.
The battle can take place anywhere, at any time, and the hero can be any one at all. What we’re looking for, is someone to cheer for. Bon chance!
