So i was watching Night at the Museum 2 the other night and decided that Amelia Earhart is by far my favorite character. The first woman pilot! She did what no woman had done before. Forget the rules of society she did what she wanted. And then she disappeared… In 1937, as she attempted to become the first woman to fly around the world, with her navigator, Fred Noonan. They were last heard from about 100 miles from the tiny Pacific atoll, Howland Island on July 2, 1937. President Roosevelt authorized an immediate search; no trace was ever found…So what actually happened to her? Did she die in a crash? Maybe she landed on a mysterious island and was marooned.
