I'm on the outside, and I'm looking in.
I’m sat here watching the USA v Canada Ice Hockey final, knowing how big the rivalry is between these teams, and knowing how much Canada needed that win on home soil . . . But I’m British, what exactly do I know??
As much as I’m enjoying it on TV, I just can’t comprehend what it means to all those fans who’ve been on the edges of their seats at the stadium, and that gave me an idea. We always hear stories of magical adventures and thrilling heroics, following our heroes as the story draws us in. But what of the little people??
I want to read about climactic events that you glimpse from the corner of their eye, or don’t fully understand. Is the bride is running from the church just as you happen to drive past? Or maybe the Mushroom cloud in the distance is merely a pretty shape that makes you go awwwwww?
