What is the ultimate goal of a writer?

It’s not to write a story, or even to get it published. It’s to have that story read. Imagine how irritated I’ve become of late to find no one reading/commenting on my stories. But no matter. Inspired by the bio of THX, I have devised a solution/challenge. Each person who enters this challenge must comment on another person’s entry, first participant waiting until the second one enters. Additionally, whenever someone comments on your entry, you must comment on another entry. Write whatever sort of story you want, only catch is that it has to involve some reference to friendship.

Here’s hoping this doesn’t go the way of my stories and has nobody read it.
