“Practice random kindness and selfless acts of beauty.”

I don’t remember who said that but it’s a quote that I live by. The fact is that there is not enough kindness in this world, not in my book at any rate. Especially in Britain where, when I try to help a stranger or even apologise for bumping into someone, I am met with cold suspicious stares.

I recently wrote a story (http://ficly.com/stories/17985) about a random act of kindness I heard of, and what with the amount of sadness and anger written on this site, I thought a bit of kindness would do everyone well.

It might be simple – too simple for some – but it’s a challenge. Write about an act of kindness, be it random or reasoned.
Kudos to real stories, especially if you committed them!
