Ok, so basically the challenge is to write a poem or short story either including lyrics from or capturing the mood of a favourite song. Using a song with slightly more unusual lyrics (such as the lyrics in the challenge title) could make it more interesting.
There’s no need to draw attention to which words are quotes from the song as the idea is to embed them, however it would be good if the title of your piece could be the title of the song or if not you could say which song you’ve used at the bottom.
Feel free to use any genre of song and any style of writing…
