Everyone has met someone that they just knew would become a person of importance. That’s all this challenge is about.

I want you to write a story about someone realizing (via some traumatic or triumphant event) that they will, or at least have the determination to, become someone important. A prophet, perhaps, or a world leader. A warrior or a hero or an intergalactic savior.

It can be from any perspective you wish, such a parent or an observer or the important-person-to-be or… well, use your imagination. There are no limits on setting/era/genre/etc and you can enter as many times as you wish.

It’s up to you. Think big.
