Psychic powers. Esp, telekinesis, telepathy. Growing up I wanted nothing more than to unleash my own psychic powers. Looking back I don’t know if I just wanted to be special or if I was incredibly lazy. Either way my challenge is for you to include a psychic element in your entry. Any setting, any genre.

There are many precedents across the entertainment industry: Psi-Corp in Babylon 5, the Talents in Anne McCaffrey’s Pegasus/Rowan series, Alan Dean Foster’s Flinx books, Betazoids in Star Trek, Stephen King (so many but I’ll include the Shining, Firestarter, Carrie and the Dead Zone), 2009’s Push and of course Professor X and Jean Grey.

Overt or subtle? Hunted/afraid? How are the powers viewed/used?
