You know how, sometimes, a character in a story might say pleadingly, “Oh, how cruelly logical!” or “The cruel irony!”?
Well, this challenge is to write a story, ending with,
“How cruelly _____.”
[Fill in the blank.]
It could be “How cruelly ironic/logical/anything else you can think of.”
But that MUST be the last line of the story.
