The Gypsy Wagon

One afternoon, in the middle of whatever else is or is not going on, a horse drawn wagon rolls into the very small town in which you (the narrator) live. The wagon is colorfully decorated in the style of Gypsies. A sign on one side says, “Madame Rose Sees All” and in the driver’s seat, a tall, thin, mustachioed and strangely dressed man.

Tell, in first person, what happened when the gypsy wagon came to town and what Madame Rose saw.

Or any variation on how the gypsies affect characters within that small town, again, from a first person point of view.

I realize first person is more difficult but it is also more effective in this nostalgiac type of tale.

I might place a story, but I will not be competing against you.

Good luck.
